SANTIAGO, AND I HAVE NO EYES

Santiago is a pleasent city. I was fortunate to have a friend there with a couch, and the best tour guide in Santiago, for a roommate. Muchas Gracias Coletta and Poncho. It was a good time but didn't paint all too much. Just arrived in Pucon, where I will prepair for a seven day hike past the picturesque Volcan Vallarica.

Yesterday morning I bought a new pair of flip flops. Walking back to my hostel, I found that it was uncomfortable to walk in them without dragging the heels on the pavement. But I didn´t want to ruin these new blue sandals. looking around me, I noticed everyone else dragging their heels as well. I realized that it didn´t matter, these sandals were intended to be disposable.

got a bit of the travelers diarreah before setting out to aconcogua. I´ll be leaving en menana.

I´m now in Mendoza, Argentina, staying at Hostel Goudy as the only english speaker. Refreshing after Buenos Aires' hostels with their abundance of united kingdomites, and techno pulse.
BA was great though. I never would have guessed how much pride argentinians take in their pizza. Pizza and steak. thats my diet now.
Mendoza is a relaxing city with wide streets. pleasant setting.
Tomarrow, I'm off to walk about the base of Aconcogua, the largest peak in the western hemisphere.
I´ll update in a week.
All the best,
WIll

NASHVILLE TO MIAMI

Caught a ride with my friend, Caitlin to Tallahassee, FL. She's a Botanist. Learned all about Florida's flora and about the way in which ducks kill off their unwanted young.
